About Me

Prashant Chalise in the field with binoculars

As a passionate forester with a deep connection to nature, I have dedicated my career to the conservation and sustainable management of forest ecosystems. My journey began with a fascination for the intricate relationships between wildlife, forests, and human communities.

Through my work as a Forest Technician at Subdivision Forest Office Gaindakot, I have gained extensive hands-on experience in wildlife capture and monitoring, forest thinning operations, fire risk assessment, and community forest management. My expertise spans both traditional forestry practices and modern technological approaches.

I believe in the power of community engagement and scientific research to drive meaningful conservation outcomes. My mission is to bridge the gap between local communities and forest conservation, ensuring that both people and nature can thrive together.
